About us
To work more purposefully from the holistic perspective of Södra Älvsborg Hospital (SÄS), an organizational change is underway where the HR unit is organized into a coordinated staff together with other units within SÄS.
The HR unit is characterized by a good working climate with opportunities for professional development. We have an HR manager, HR partners, HR strategists, HR specialists, and an HR administrator. We work together as a business-oriented support based on needs and competencies, supporting the core operations consisting of nine areas. Furthermore, we have several regional assignments and working groups that align with the HR processes decided by the Västra Götaland region. Our HR unit needs to constantly change and develop alongside the operations, which is why we need to think development-oriented about goals and results.
About our open position
In line with the HR unit's organizational change and altered assignments, we are now looking for two HR partners to enable even more business-oriented support. As an HR partner at SÄS, you will work towards a specific business area (VO). In this role, you will be the primary support for the business manager, focusing on working consultatively, proactively, and structurally, positioning HR-related issues at both operational and strategic levels within HR's functional area. Together with the business manager, you will coach and support the managers of the business area in their leadership according to established managerial criteria. Being a professional support in change, transition, and development processes is therefore a significant part of the job.
In your role as an HR partner, you will sit in the local collaboration group (LSG) for the VO you are working within. This means that you, together with the business manager, are responsible for the agenda in the union collaboration. LSG is also a safety committee, where the systematic work environment efforts are followed up. Furthermore, you will participate in the management group for the VO, where your role is to contribute with analysis, impact assessments, governance, and follow-up on both daily issues and our main processes.
You will also work across SÄS with issues related to competence and management supply, work environment, culture, competence development and learning, or employer conditions based on your expertise. This may involve participating in working groups, training, and providing in-depth knowledge on the subject. Internally in HR, you will have weekly meetings with other HR partners to discuss cases, ensure working methods, and support each other. In addition, you will have close collaboration with other employees in the HR unit and the finance unit.
Your profile
You have a university or college degree with a focus on personnel/labor relations/HR. We see that you have experience working supportively with managers in HR processes, that you have basic knowledge of labor law (laws and agreements), and the ability to apply your labor law knowledge in practice. Experience in working with change, transition, and development processes from an HR perspective, as well as experience in working with competence supply and rehabilitation processes, is meritorious for the position.
To succeed in the role, you have good social skills, find it easy to collaborate, and build trusting relationships. Communication is a natural part of you, and since the role is largely consultative, it requires you to be service-oriented and unpretentious. You are structured, balanced, and motivated by supporting managers through a coaching and proactive approach. If you are also self-assured, driven by challenges, and enjoy taking responsibility for your own work, you will thrive in this role.
Warm welcome with your application!
